The University of Eldoret has a long history that can be traced back to 1946 when it was established as a large-scale Farmer’s Training Centre. In 1984, it was converted to a teachers’ training college and renamed Moi Teachers’ Training College to offer Diploma Science Teachers Training. However, in 1990, the college became a campus of Moi University due to a double intake crisis. In 2010, the campus was upgraded to a university college named Chepkoilel University College, a constituent college of Moi University. In February 2013, Chepkoilel University College became a fully-fledged university from Moi University. It was awarded a charter and renamed the University of Eldoret (UoE).

The University of Eldoret has made it easier to access your admission letters through its special admission Portal. Here is how to access and download your UoE letters of offer:

1. Visit the University Website at https://www.uoeld.ac.ke/
2. Look for the “Admissions” section on the website’s homepage. It is located at the top of the navigational bar.
3. When you mouse over the Admissions section, several links will be presented. Click on “KUCCPS Admission letter”
4. Within the Admissions section, locate the link “Download your Admission Letter.” Once you click on this link, you will be redirected to a new page that allows you to download your letter.
5. On the admission letters page, you’ll find a field where you need to enter your KCSE index number. Make sure to enter it correctly in the format specified (e.g., YEAR followed by INDEX NUMBER: 2021XXXXXXXX).
6. Once you’ve entered your index number, click the “Submit Query.” Your admission letter should then be downloaded as a PDF document.
