Like the rest of the counties in Kenya, Nyeri County is split into various Sub-counties (Constituencies), which are further broken down into various wards.

The Purpose of counties like Nyeri having so many wards and sub-counties is to facilitate easy delivery of services to the common Mwananchi (Ordinary Kenyans).
