Moi University is among the first universities to be established in Kenya and is the second university in Kenya. It was established in 1984 after the University of Nairobi. As of the writing of this article, the university has produced 123,990 Alumni, and currently, the university has a student population of 29472. Admissions Process

The Moi University has made its admission process easier for the Goverment and self-sponsored students so long as you meet the minimum entry requirements.

Each Programme has its requirements; however, all the Programs have general requirements. For undergraduate programs, you’ll typically need a minimum grade of C+ in your KCSE exams, with specific subject requirements depending on your chosen program.

Government-Sponsored Students

This is the category of students who apply to join the university through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). Once placed at Moi University, you can head to the Moi University admissions portal to receive your admissions letter. On the reporting day, you must present your admissions letter, which serves as a letter of acceptance to study your program of choice.

To download the Moi Univerity admissions letter as a KUCCPS student, Visit the admission portal at https://admissions.mu.ac.ke/ login and either accept or decline the program you have been offered. Accepting the offer gives you access to download your Moi University admissions letter. However, to get the letter, you will be required to upload the following documents:

Suppose you are joining the university as a self-sponsored student. In that case, the process is actually similar to the KUCCPS process, except for a few documents that you will need to provide to pay the application fee. Follow the steps below to apply:

  • Select the self-sponsored option located on the far right and click on Login.
