To verify SHA-contracted facilities:
- Visit the official SHA website (sha.go.ke)
- Navigate to the “Resources” section
- You will see several Resources listed as PDF
- Select the “CANCER CARE HCPs” category and download it either on your browser or to your phone
- Open the PDF and see the hospitals arranged by county.
SHIF Registration Process for Cancer Treatment
Since NHIF is not working anymore, the only way to access its services is through SHIF registration. The government has come forward to assist Kenyans with this process through various Civi education processes in all the counties. However, many Kenyans still have a problem with registering for SHIF. But you know what? The process is not quite as hard as it sounds.
Below is the method to follow:
- Visit the official SHIF website at https://sha.go.ke/.
- The website allows registration for registration for either an individual or an employer.
- Choose the method that suits you best and provide all the required documents, it National ID number, KRA PIN, etc, depending on the method of registration
- Make sure to verify your account using the OTP sent to your number and set a unique 4-digit PIN for our account.
