How do you qualify to be a police officer in Kenya?
To Apply for any of the Job positions listed above, you are expected to meet the position qualifications, which vary from one position to another. Below are some of the general eligibility criteria that apply to all jobs.
- You must meet the minimum education qualifications, which require a mean grade of D plain in KCSE for entry-level roles; Higher roles demand a Mean grade of C minus,s, and Speized roles Require either a Bachelor’s or Diploma
- The age limit for most entry-level positions is between 18 and 28, and it varies for specialized roles.
- You must be a Kenyan Citizen and possess a valid National identity Document
- You must be of Sound Mind and meet the Physical and Medical standards provided by the Commission
- You must have bo no chronic illness or physical disabilities that may hinder your day-to-day operations
- You Must have good moral character and no criminal record.
