The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has officially announced the August 2025 examinations. I just thought it would be better to put out this information to help you quickly register for the exams as early as possible to avoid missing the deadlines. The KASNEB 2025 August exams are set to be administered over four days, from Monday, August 18 to Thursday, August 21, with the registration deadline for this exam marked on Friday, July 18, 2025.
If you are an accounting or finance student in any category and want to be recognised as a professional in your field of expertise, then KASNEB is not a new name to you. How can you sit for those exams and get certified? These exams offered by the accounting board are crucial as they help you get certified in various areas such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA), and also advance your career in the long run.
KASNEB usually opens its portal from time to time to allow aspiring professionals to register for these exams, which are crucial for their success. How to Register for KASNEB Exams
Before you can sit for the Upcoming KASNEB exams, it is mandatory that you first register for them. This process is quite simple, meaning you can do it yourself via the KASNEB student portal or the e-KASNEB mobile app available on the Google Play Store. For those who aren’t tech-savvy, the educational institution has made it more effortless still for you to register for your exams by visiting any Kasneb counters at Huduma Centres in Nairobi GPO, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kitale, Kakamega, Meru and Thika.
For the Registration process, all you need to do is:
- Start by visiting the official KASNEB student portal at https://online.kasneb.or.ke/Register.aspx.
- If you are a new student, make sure to complete the registration form to create a new account; otherwise, click on the Back to Login link and proceed to sign in.
- Once you log in, you will have to navigate to the “Examination Booking” section, where you can select the exam sitting and papers you wish to take.
- Also, during this stage, you must select the correct exam center according to your paper preference. I have covered the exam centers below in detail.
- Proceed to agree to the Terms and conditions, and then generate an invoice for payment and pay using any of the available payment options on your portal.
- Proceed to follow all the provided system prompts, and when you are done, you will receive a booking receipt and exam timetable via email.
KASNEB Exams Fees in 2025
During the registration process, you are required to pay the exam fees so that you can officially be recognized to sit for those particular exams by being awarded a booking receipt. Of course, the registration cost varies depending on the level of examination, as shown in the tables below; in addition, students with disabilities are eligible for a 25% discount on registration fees upon submission of relevant documentation, such as an NCPWD card.

Note
All continuing students of KASNEB are required to renew their annual registration by 1 July of each year. For new students, the first annual registration renewal fee is due on 1 July following their first eligible examination sitting and annually thereafter.
KASNEB exam centres
Immediately, You Pay for your exam and registration; you will be allocated an exam centre where you will have to sit for your exams during the period when it is available. To Know Your Exams Centre, KASNEB advises all students to end the word “Centre” with your registration number to 20558; for example, Centre/NAC/your reg.no, and you will be allocated your centre.
